Weekly Bible Reading
Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 2 Timothy 2:14-16
As disciples, it is up to us to study the Word of God. Each week we read through the scheduled reading individually or as a family. On the Sabbath we come together and have discussion and teaching from that week's reading.
As a congregation we read through the Hebrew Testament [Instructions (or Torah), History, and Prophets] once a year; The Psalms, Gospels and Apostolic Teachings twice a year; And Proverbs ten times a year.
We have designed the reading schedule to be in Psalms and Proverbs almost daily throughout the year.
There are 50 weeks scheduled to give breaks for the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the Feast of Tabernacles.
