The glorious conclusion of God's blueprint: the New Jerusalem descends to earth, the Tree of Life is restored, and God dwells with men forever in an eternal Kingdom.
Paradise Restored: The New Heavens, The New Earth, and The Eternal Kingdom
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." — Revelation 21:1-2
"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain." — Revelation 21:3-4
"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life... and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." — Revelation 22:1-2

The New Jerusalem Comes Down to Earth
Notice where the eternal home of the saints is located: John did not see the saints floating off to live in outer space; he saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down OUT OF HEAVEN TO THE EARTH!
God the Father Himself moves His residence to be with His redeemed people on the renewed earth. This is the **8th Day (Shemini Atzeret)**—the eternal eighth day that never ends, beyond the 7,000 years of human history!
