Understanding God's Kingdom Blueprint: Paradise Given and Paradise Lost
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." — Genesis 1:1
"And Yahweh God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it." — Genesis 2:15
"Therefore Yahweh God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken." — Genesis 3:23
The Mystery Modern Churches Miss
Most modern churchgoers are taught that salvation is merely about "dying and floating away to heaven to sit on a cloud with a harp." But when you open your Bible to Genesis 1–3, you discover a startling truth: God created man for the earth, and gave him dominion over the earth.
God walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden—a tangible, physical paradise on this earth. The tragedy of the Fall was not just personal guilt; it was the loss of the Kingdom of God on earth.
The Three Options: Heaven, Hell, or the Kingdom?
You have heard of Heaven. You have heard of Hell. But have you ever heard the 3rd Option that Jesus and the prophets actually preached?
- Matthew 5:5 — "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."
- Luke 11:2 — "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven."
- Zechariah 14:9 — "Yahweh shall be king over all the earth: in that day there shall be one Lord, and his name one."
Salvation in Scripture is not an evacuation from earth; it is the redemption and restoration of the earth back to God's original design!
What Happened in the Garden?
- Divine Creation & Dominion: God created Adam and Eve in His image and gave them authority to steward the earth under His sovereign Law.
- The Deception & Rebellion: Satan questioned God's Word ("Has God really said?") and introduced the lie of autonomous morality. Adam abdicated his kingly authority.
- Paradise Lost: The ground was cursed, death entered the human race, and humanity was driven out from the Tree of Life.
- The First Promise of the Seed (Protoevangelium): Genesis 3:15 promises that the Seed of the woman will crush the head of the serpent. The entire remaining 65 books of your Bible tell the story of how that Seed—Yeshua the Messiah—crushes the serpent and restores the Kingdom!
